Will I receive a ticket for the event?

For this event you won’t receive an official ticket as such, your confirmation email that you receive upon purchasing a ticket/s will be your entry into the event.

If I don’t receive a ticket for the event, what do I need to bring along to registration?

You will need to bring along personal ID & a copy of a tax invoice or confirmation email.

What pre-event communication will I receive prior to attending DWD?

You will receive a series of emails prior to the event. Each email with include key event information to ensure you get the most out of the event. We ask that you take the time to check your emails regularly.

You will be sent a DWD PERSONAL QUESTIONNAIRE via email prior to the event, this must be completed and submitted by everyone attending the event. You will be sent a user name & password to access this questionnaire. We ask that you take the time to complete this, you will find that the more fully you complete your questionnaire, the more you’ll benefit from the program. Tony likes to personally read through all the questionnaires before the program to enable him and his team to fully support you.

How do I complete & submit the pre-event information?

You will be sent an email outlining the instructions on how to complete and submit your questionnaire. Please check your emails regularly.

Who reads this pre-event information?

The questionnaire is strictly confidential and is only viewed by Tony and his selected trainers.

If I have purchased more than 1 ticket, do I need to let Success Resources know the personal details (name, email, state, postcode & phone number) of each of my ticket holders?

Yes, you must provide us with the full details of each ticket holder. If we don’t have these details then they cannot register for the event.

What is the age limit for the event?

This event contains adult content and language. The age limit is 15 years old.

When & where is registration for the event?

There are 2 options for registration -

  • Sunday 19th May - 2pm - 7pm OR
  • Monday 20th May - 8am - 11am

Doors open at 11am on Monday 20th May!

Registration will take place in the main foyer of the Cairns Convention Centre. Enter the venue via the main entrance on Wharf Street.

What will I receive at registration?

You will receive the following items -

  • Name badge
  • Event wristband
  • Workbook

What other items do you suggest for me to bring along to the event?

  • Pen - for you to write lots of notes inside your workbook.
  • Refillable drink bottle - there are plenty of water machines throughout the venue for you to refill your bottle.
  • Warm jacket or coat - At Tony’s request, the temperature in the ballroom can fluctuate from cool to quite warm, depending on how much activity is going on. It’s a good idea to bring a jumper or jacket to each session.

What is the venue policy for bringing in outside food & drinks?

The venue does not allow any outside food or drinks to be brought inside the venue. They will be checking all attendee bags upon entry. There is a variety of food & drinks available onsite accommodating all dietary requirements.

Are there meal breaks during the day?

There is one long meal break each day, the times of this break varies each day, some days it’s around lunchtime and other days it’s an evening break. You will be notified onsite of the times. We highly recommend you purchase plenty of snacks at the venue to keep your energy levels up throughout each day.

Is there a cloakroom at the venue I can store my luggage?

There is no cloakroom onsite. Clients will need to store their luggage and any prohibited items offsite.

DIAMOND TICKET CLASS

What ticket benefits are included with my Diamond ticket?

Everyone attending the event MUST register! Please allow at least 30 minutes for this process.

  • Front section seating
  • Registration pack - drink bottle, backpack, neck wallet - given to you upon registration
  • Separate registration process
  • Priority access on the first day (catering is not provided)

SECURITY INFORMATION - PROHIBITED & PERMITTED ITEMS

What is the security procedure?

  • All persons and parcels will go through a security screening upon arrival at the event.
  • To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests, all persons entering must be appropriately credentialed. Credentials and other entitlements are non-transferable and void if altered.
  • All persons, bags, parcels, clothing and other items may be subject to screening/security checks at this entry point and also within the event.
  • We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other item to be brought into the event and to deal with any unattended object in such a way as we consider appropriate.

Which items are prohibited?

  • Weapons of any kind or objects that appear to be weapons including toy weapons.
  • Camera tripods and Selfie sticks (hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices).
  • Suitcases
  • Coolers or backpacks larger than 22” long x 15” wide x 18” high (54cm x 38cm x 46cm).
  • Pets or other animals except for approved service animals, which must remain on a leash and with the owner at all times.
  • Recreational devices such as drones, remote controlled toys or any conveyances with wheels other than a rolling briefcase bag or mobility device for a disabled individual.
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Any food & drinks purchased outside of the venue
  • Any other items that we determine may be harmful or disruptive.

There is no cloak room onsite. Prohibited items will need to be taken offsite.

What activities are prohibited?

  • The sale of goods or services or the display of good or services for sale.
  • The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind.
  • Unauthorised events, demonstrations or speeches, or the usage of any flag, banner or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd.
  • Photography, videotaping or recording of any kind for commercial purposes or the recording of any portion of the stage program.
  • Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede or negatively impact the operation of the event or the enjoyment of the event by participants.
  • We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters the event and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person.
  • We reserve the right to deny entry, or to require a person already admitted to leave the event, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstance so requires.

Who are Destination Cairns?

They are the appointed and approved Travel Agent for all our DWD 2019 clients and staff. Their website is fully secure. They are a locally family operated business www.destinationcairns.com.au and can assist you with all your accommodation requirements for the event. We highly recommend you book all your accommodation through DESTINATION CAIRNS!!

Can I call the hotel and book direct through their reservations department?

You can but we recommend you book via Destination Cairns as they can manage all of this for you.

Are there any credit card fees associated with booking through this site?

No credit card fees are associated with booking through site.

Do I need to pay in full when I book online?

Yes, you do have to pay in full at the time of booking your accommodation online, as the negotiated accommodation rates are specific to DWD.

Can I pay via direct debit or via credit card?

Yes, you can pay via direct debit. We will send you an invoice with our bank details. Payment must be made in full. The booking is not complete until full payment is received.

Will I be sent a tax invoice upon booking my accommodation?

Yes, you will be sent a tax invoice & full confirmation upon completion of your online booking.

Will I receive a confirmation number once my booking & payment has been processed?

Yes, you will receive a unique confirmation number, this will start with TAC plus 7 numbers. Please hold on to this number, you will need to have this upon check-in at the hotel and also if you want to make any changes to your original booking.

Do the room rates include tax?

Yes, all costs are inclusive of Goods & Services Tax (GST) and are in Australian dollars (AUD).

What accommodation packages are there available?

There are options for 1 - 4 persons. There are also hotels and apartment options. If you can’t find what you are looking for then you can reach out to Destination Cairns who will be happy to assist you.

If I don’t know who my sharer is at the time of booking, can I still book the twin room & notify you closer to the time?

Yes, you can still complete this booking without the confirmed sharer. Once you have confirmed your sharer you MUST provide us with the sharer’s details and provide us with your unique confirmation number so we can match up the booking.

Can me & my sharer pay ½ the room cost or does the person who is making the booking need to pay the full amount?

The room needs to be paid in full at the time of the booking in a single transaction.

Can we book for 3 people in a room?

Depending on room type, this may be possible. Please contact Destination Cairns to discuss bedding configuration

Can I book a rollout bed?

Rollout beds can be booked for children under the age of 15 years old. The cost is variable depending on the property.

How do I know what room types the hotels offer?

The available room types are listed on the DWD Travel Agent Destination Cairns Marketing website www.destinationcairns.com.au

If I want to make changes to my booking, who do I contact about this?

Contact Destination Cairns Marketing at info@destinationcairns.com.au if you wish to:

  • Add extra nights both pre & post event
  • Remove any room nights
  • Add or change your sharer’s details
  • Book breakfast
  • Book a roll out bed
  • Update personal details

How much does it cost to make a change to my original booking & how do I pay for this?
